Chris: Founder - highly adaptable and versatile radio producer specialising in creating exceptionally high quality shows and sound design.
Additional expertise in Outside Broadcasts - having managed and produced shows from all over the world including many legendary venues and clubs across the White Isle. During his time as Head of Radio for Ministry of Sound in London Chris more than doubled listening figures and revenue through a complete station revamp, and successful new syndication strategy. His experience in show and presenter development has seen him working with DJs such as Martin Garrix, Sander van Doorn, Paul Oakenfold, Bob Sinclair, and many more alongside managing programming teams on stations from Ibiza and to the UK. Current projects include: Global syndication management for 'Axtone Presents', development of the sound and programming for Martin Garrix, training the next generation of dance radio producers and new client liaison for The Boy in the Corner. Ella: Executive Producer - specialises in initiating, devising and producing compelling programme content for both radio (and TV) with considerable experience in editorial decision-making, commissioning, scripting, live studio production, and presenter training.
Working for organisations as disparate as BBC Radio 4 and Prison Radio Association (which won four Sony Radio Academy Awards while she was Station Manager) Ella has nearly 16 years of experience as a studio producer of specialist music shows, speech programmes, and documentaries - having worked with presenters including Norman Jay MBE, Mariella Frostrup, Coldcut, Vanessa Feltz, Mark Lawson, and Danny Baker. Current roles include: Team Leader & Producer for BBC Radio 4's flagship daily live arts and culture programme Front Row; Podcast Editor & Team Trainer at IdeasTap a charity that supports creative people; and Lead Programme Tutor at The Roundhouse devising and delivering courses in radio production and presentation, and which includes work with NEETs. |
Rob: Head of Business Development - areas of expertise are international programme syndication, commercial exploitation of content, talent development, and Outside Broadcast management.
With 16 years in the media industry, Rob has worked across multiple formats - from Contemporary Hit Radio chart shows, dance music, mixes, speech/drama, gaming, and award show programming such as the BRITs & MOBOs. He spent 10 years at leading radio & TV indie Somethin' Else and has worked with talent including Ronnie Wood (who's show received Sony and Arquiva commercial awards), Gilles Peterson, Roger Sanchez, Ferry Corsten and Mix Master Mike. Current projects include: syndication of weekly specialist radio programmes - including Roger Sanchez, Ferry Corsten and Ku De Ta Bali. Diversification of programming within The Boy in the Corner and talent management. Roy: Producer - is the man behind all of The Boy in the Corner's most recent and successful imaging packages - for the likes of Oliver Heldens, Firebeatz, and Jay Hardway - and producer of our syndicated radio shows.
He is a multi-Platinum music producer/mixer, and talented commercial studio engineer, who has worked in London, Jamaica and NYC with a client roster that includes M.I.A, Example, Gary Barlow, Omar, So Solid, Wiley, Booker T and Alexander O'Neil. Current projects include: Omar's latest studio album (2016) and driving innovation across the studios for new production techniques utilised within the Boy in the Corner. |
